Clonmel R.F.C. League Results

Clonmel RFC has the honour of hosting Munster “A” v Leinster “A” at Ardgeeha on Friday 16th October. This exciting encounter will be played under lights and kicks off at 7 p.m. It is the biggest fixture the club has ever hosted and is payback for the investment that has been put into the club’s facilities. This will be a chance to see many of tomorrow’s stars from both provinces – these “A” players see themselves as nearing a breakthrough and will not be holding back in their attempts to impress their coaches. There will be huge local interest of course with the probable inclusion of rising talents Eoghan Grace, David Foley and Tom O’Donnell on the Munster team

Tickets (€10) can be bought beforehand from Eldons Embar, Lonergans Bar, Gleesons Bar, and both of Dillon’s Texaco Stations at Davis Rd and Cherrymount and you are encouraged to do this to facilitate quick entry.

Tickets can also be bought at the gate on the night – Children U-16 can pay €3 at the gate. Please avoid bringing very young children
Boston Scientific will very kindly allow us to use their floodlit car-park nearest the club (5-minute walk) – please obey instructions of stewards – parking will be very limited at the club grounds and there will be NO PARKING ON ROAD OUTSIDE THE CLUB
100 Club members will be allowed free entry but must produce their ID card on demand – card allows entry for one person only
The club main bar will be closed until the teams have eaten after the match but we will have a marquee bar beside the clubhouse open from 6 p.m. onwards. The main bar will open as soon as the players have eaten
It is hoped to have a fast food service in the grounds and tea / coffee / sandwiches will also be available
All club stewards will be wearing club HI-Viz jackets. A complimentary match programme will be issued at the gate
