It is both an honour and a privilege to be chosen to captain Clonmel R.F.C. It will be by no means easy but something I am very much looking forward to for the coming season.
Success is the barometer by which every season is judged and I am quietly confident that we have both players and management in place that will make this a successful season for Clonmel R.F.C.
Training has started and it's great to see both young and old players pushing themselves back into shape and contention for places. It is very important that we get the balance right between younger and more seasoned players for we must always look to the future.
I'll finish by wishing all captains of every Clonmel team at every level, every success in the coming season.
